Radioactive is a 6HP Eurorack module that brings real-world FM radio into your modular system. Covering the 88–108 MHz range, it lets you patch in up to 6 actual FM stations, creating unpredictable textures, sampled content, or ambient backdrops.

CV IN — Station Select (0–5V)
Selects one of six FM stations using control voltage. 0V = Station 1, 5V = Station 6. Intermediate voltages choose the stations in between. Ideal for sequencers, LFOs, or random CV.

TRIG — External Random Select
A rising trigger performs the same action as the front-panel Random button, choosing a random active station.

GATE — Output MuteGate
LOW: Output unmuted
HIGH: Output muted

Useful for rhythmic gating or performance control.

ANT — Antenna Input. Connect an FM antenna here for best reception or just use a Eurorack Patch Cable.

OUTPUT — Stereo Audio Out. Main stereo output at Eurorack levels, carrying the selected FM station’s audio.

QUANT — Quantized CV Out
Outputs pitch-quantized CV from the internal chromatic quantizer. Behavior depends on the current mode set by the Shift button.

Buttons-
 
Random - Immediately switches to a randomly chosen active station. Great for unpredictable or generative patches.

Shift - Toggles between FM Mode and Quantizer Mode.

FM Mode: Normal radio operation with CV station control.
Quantizer Mode: Activates the chromatic quantizer and routes its output to the QUANT jack.
